FRG® KO Pricing: In Vivo Products
FRG® on C57Bl/6
The FRG® KO on C57Bl/6 background was originally reported by Azuma et. al. in 2007. Since then, it has become a staple model for liver humanization and is well suited for studies in gene therapy, hepatotropic infectious diseases, drug metabolism, toxicology, and cancer biology. The animals weigh 22 grams on average and have a typical lifespan of 18–24 months. Engraftment is sustained over the life of the animal with an appropriate regimen of CuRx™ Nitisinone and prophylactic treatment of SMX/TMP antibiotics, though in many circumstances, no drug treatment is required.
These pathogen-free animals are available as repopulated models with either human, C57Bl/6, or NOD hepatocytes and can be purchased for use in your facility or as part of a study run at Yecuris facilities. Breeding colonies are available under license from Yecuris for select academic, government, and non-profit instititutions. List prices serve as base prices for the models and are subject to change depending on customer requirements, quantity, and order frequency. FRG® on NOD
Our next generation model, the FRG® KO on the NOD background was developed to promote the engraftment of both liver and hematopoietic systems. We currently offer these animals as liver-repopulated models only. The animals weigh 28 grams on average and have a typical lifespan of 18-24 months. Engraftment is sustained over the life of the animal with an appropriate regimen of CuRx™ Nitisinone (20-0026) and prophylactic treatment of SMX/TMP antibiotics (20-0037).
